Question about loading native instrument libraries on an external HD.

I have about 10 native instrument libraries (kontakt 5) that I would like to load onto an external hard drive. What I have done so far is keep the instrument folders on my internal hard drive and loaded the samples onto the external. It's a lap top so my external isn't always plugged in. When I open kontakt 5 an try to open a library it always ask me to locate the sample folders. So my question is: Is there a way to tell my computer where the sample folders are, so it remembers an I don't have to tell it every time I load a new library? What's the best way to set this up?

Thanks.

Andrew
