New Pro tools 10 HD Native PC Build Whats should my target geekbench score be?

HI all.

the time has come to upgrade my workstation. I want to run pro tools 10 off a PC.

My current system uses a i7-2600K. It geek benches at around 10,900.

I am looking for something that is ideally between 2 and 4 times more powerfull than this.

I way I read the geekbench scores it suggests that building a machine with a target score of around 40000 would be needed to make a machine that is rouphly 4 times more powerful that my current quad core system.

For the purposes of rough estimations, can i use the geekbench score as an indicator of the kind of system i need to build? i.e. will a system with a geekbench score of 40000 be rouply 4 times more powerful at running pro tools that a system than has a score of 10,900?

I can see that the fastest 6 core I7 on the market now, will only get me to a geekbench score of but this is only for a 64bit sytem and only 16000 for a 32bit system.

my intention is to run 64 bit windows 7 and my assumption is that pro-tools will make use of this 64bit system, even though its still a 32 bit mixing solution.

basically when all is said and done, i want something that is about 4 times more powerful than the my current system which has 16GB Ram and runs off a 2600K CPU..... any ideas on what is going to deliver that in the PC market? it sounds like ill have to go a dual CPU socket solution to acheive this...
