Multiple Headphone mixes on PT9?

Question,

I have a 003+ rack and a Digimax LT hooked up to my mac pro with Pro Tools 9.0.1 Running. I am recording a local band with 5 members and wanted to know if I could setup multiple headphone mixes. I tried creating 5 aux channels and then bussing each of the 16 channels to each of the 5 aux channels, and setting the auxes to outputs 3-7 on my interface. In theory it would work but then Low Latency Monitoring isnt possible because it seems to deactivate all of the sends on each channel while its active. Is there any software that I can use to work around this (like a saffire mix control type thing that would work with my 003+ rack). Id like to send out 5 different mono headphone mixes out of my 003+ Rack (channels 3-7). I have an 8ch headphone amp with individual channel inputs on them. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

just read an article online saying that I can work around this by disabling LLM and making the h/w sample size lower as long as my computer can handle it. will this work or will there still be some delay.

It should work because most other DAWs just use the normal buffer size method. Depends how much plugins you have running on the session and the power of your CPU how low you can get it before it starts crapping out, though.

That's not a work around, that's the way you should be doing it!

The LLM mode is the work around - assuming you don't have a shed load of plugins running, recording like this should be fine.

Delay? Some people might notice a delay. Most should be fine at 64 samples.
