I know this is hard to believe but my favorite reverb is the MOTU Proverb. I own several Waves reverbs, none of them sound as good as the MOTU.

I just spent a week closely comparing the Lexicon PCM Native suite and Ircam Flux. I must admit I found that the Flux sat better in the mixes I did. That said, my favorite is the Eventide Stereo Room.

How is the Eventide on small room spaces? I've never had a chance to use one.

I think Stereo Room is wonderful in this sense: the sound is very unobtrusive and does not step on any sonic toes. It can be spacious, but to my ears it is not lush in the Lexicon way (or Flux, for that matter). It sounds like a buzzword, but it really does have a natural sound. I often use it to shave a bit off digital transient edges, or to tuck sources back a bit in the space. IMO, it does that wonderfully. As little as 4% wet rounds off the sound beautifully.

My fave reverb plugs are:

1. UAD2 EMT 140
2. UAD2 EMT 250
3. UAD2 Lexicon 224
4. EW Spaces

!!!!

Love UAD much...??? haha

I simply can't find no plug in that sounds like the harware... particulary in the dimension division... Tried Lexicon PCM, Sonnox Reverb, Waves, Altiverb...still looking. Will try McDSP Revolver!
Any other one I should try to give THAT 3D dimension guys?

Which ones - the normal or vintage plates?

What uses are you guys giving to each of these two and what are you using for vocals?

I'm really enjoying the lexicon reverbs, both the PCM and LXP types. Very beautiful and rich, lots of tweak ability. Not a huge fan of their presets especially on the PCM series but when you get in and mess around both sets are crazy good. Sometimes they are a little too rich and smooth and when that happens I reach for something from waves.

Disclaimer - I've been doing beta testing for lexicon for the last several years but don't think that I'm under their thumb. I use what I like the most for each job, and I do find that I'm using lexicon a heckuva lot

UAD EMT 250
UAD Plate 140

Both incredible sounding and natural. I like the Lexicon, but its got that Lexicon sound and im not too fond. Sounds amazing for certain production styles, but crap for my acoustic work.

Nebula is doing one hell of a job. Absolutely love the plate140 on that thing. Most organic reverb i ever had!
I got the UAD version to, its good to, but not as good imho..

Woundering how the valhalla room holds up against all other verbs?

I use a lot the Lexicon suite, sounds good but you really have to deal with it..

I like Waves Trueverb because has the best interface to me and is really easy to tweak around but in the end it sounds a little bit too much fake...
