Must have sturdy table for iMacs!!

I have big table with my control surfaces, keyboard controllers, mouse, dual displays etc. There is a sliding system and my yamaha motif can slide under the table when not used. This causes some vibration, but because my G5 is on the floor, its not an issue.

I have heard that it is very unsafe for hard drives to move while they r working. Therefore, i'd be really scared to place an iMac on that table.

What do u think, true or false ?

Modern hard drives have a degree of shock absorption. If your mac is just sitting at a desk, the occasional vibration from tapping your keyboard or putting your elbow on the desk shouldn't bother it.

EDIT: Nevermind. I see you have more going on than just typing.
