FM7 sustain pedal problems ?

Hi, I'm using NI FM7 with an E-MU Xboard, and Reaper. For some strange reason I get a sort of chorus effect on repeated notes when using the sustain pedal on FM7 patches that use vibrato. This never used to happen on my DX7 with the same sounds ?
Any ideas where to look ?

Thanks...

Thanks, do you mean in Reaper or FM7 ? I'll have a poke around and see if I can see anything.

I would start on the controller and make sure it is doing what it is supposed to meaning sending data on CC64 when you step on the pedal. Reaper should just pass that info to the FM7 just like note data so the issue should not be there. Now what happens at the FM7 I cant help you with since I dont use it but somewhere there should be a place where you can assign midi CCs to various parameters and all you should need to do is find what CC64 (which is sustain and has only two possible values, on or off) is assigned to. It very well may be specific to a patch and not a global thing.
