Unpredictable Recording Result

Hey there,

I'm having some odd results while recording through a condensor mic. This is the visual of a recording:

Setup:

T.Bone SC400 -> ART MP Tube -> M-Audio Fast Track ( XLR Balanced Connections )

I can't test the condensor since it's the only preamp with phantom power I have. I've tested the soundcard using a dynamic microphone I had, getting fine results. I've tried connecting the dynamic mic to the preamp and had almost the same bad results ( negative side not responding ). Today, I've changed the electrical socket of the preamp and worked absolutely perfectly, until an hour ago. My concern is, which one is bad, my electrical supply or the amp itself?

Thanks,
SunSatION
