Pro Tools group question

I have Pro Tools HD 7.4, and for some reason tracks that are grouped don"t all mute/solo or change playlists together. Is there a setting or preference I am missing?

Thanks in advance.

Right click on the group name and modify the global settings for the groups.

I went into the studio to check that out and it all seems working now. It may have something to do with a session ported from PT 8 to PT 7.

more likely that you temporarily disabled groups? closing and re-opening the session would automatically turn them back on....

That's what I'm thinking ... if you do a lot of group stuff, it's easy
to push the Shift key (Command + Shift + G) and disable all the
groups and not realize it. Sort of the Protools equivalent of a
Toyota accelerator pedal.
