Is the Pro Q going to be part of the Total Bundle? If so, starting when?

I would guess immediately, though the price will probably go up a bit. If you own the other plugins you get discounts, so you effectively have your own bundle when you buy several of their plugs.

If it is as good as Pro-C, it'll be a winner!

Wow!

This looks interesting! Like a mixture of apEQ and Flux Epure.

I just hope that the workflow is right and it isn't a CPU-hog.

Is the pricing known yet?

It also reminded me of apeq but seems to offer more. It has LP eq, more clever design...would be cool if it offered matching too.

Watch the video and pause at 1:21

Is it strictly a linear phase eq or is the zero latency mode enables it to be a minimum phase eq?

Well at least eye candy for sure. Luckily I'm more into knobs and console-type GUIs, no worries about digging my wallet..

The great thing about Fabfilter products is their usability. This looks no different; if it sounds as good as the workflow appears to be, they're onto a winner.

Time to clear out a few other under utilised digital EQ's me thinks!

I've been waiting for this.

I love their interfaces. I had emailed them a while back about an eq.. Does anyone know if they utilized the sound of the amazing filters in their other products with this one?

this plug looks great!

I share your enthusiasm! I think it's safe to say that their IP & their sense of tone/aesthetic will carry over into this product.

These guys are just cool.

Usability and polish I guess. Quite typical of FabFilter plugins.

It's a really effective tool as it can do both L/R, Mid/Side processing in minimum phase and linear phase mode. Because you can add up to 24 bands you'll never run out of em.

Basically it'll be a really good workhorse EQ that can be used both on the mixbus and individual tracks.

Cheers!

I can see the workflow appears to be of the same high standards as other FabFilter products but how would you compare it in terms of audio quality, to the Nugen plugs (which I know you to be a fan of)?

Thanks in advance

They give you a bigger and bigger discount on their products with the more products you own. I have all of them, and I think my last purchase was 33% off. So I'd expect the default discount to be right around there if you own their other stuff.

I don't know.. I'm afraid to ridicule myself. In my honest opinion I think it "sounds" GREAT! But it is possible that I am fooled by the polished interface. I really like the Nugen Master EQ as well but these two definitely sound different when compared in linear phase. I think the Nugen one is based on FFT and the fabfilter on forward/backwards.. I'm not sure though.

Also, the minimum phase mode sounds really really good.. well if there is a difference but my immediate thoughts are that it "sounds" as good as the Flux Epure. Extremely clean and easy to get very quick results.

.. but I'm sure it's placebo, we all know all EQs are identical, don't we?

Cheers!
