OSX & Emptying locked items from the trash...

I never found the answer to this; I'm sure one of you guys know this one.

Seems like when I installed Tiger, some language stuff got thrown into the trash and it won't empty because it's locked. There's me and I'm the administrator, so it can't be that.

Use the Terminal to delete the files, it works from there.

You can also use the "get info" command (command + "I") and simply uncheck the "locked" check box for each file. That's what I do.

This was great, as there were hundreds and hundreds of locked items in there; mostly from stuff like Windoze media players. Didn't even get an 'Are you sure...' screen.
