Uh-oh G-Tech enclosure failure! - a close call

Even G-Tech PSUs fail... At least it wasn't the actual HDD, so my files are safe!

Got a similar problem with a Rocstor Pro 850 drive. Great drives, but the service guy there said there was a batch with bad bridge boards and bad power supplies. They will fix under warranty and I should get confirmation of everything today.

I had a G-tech enclosure fail a year or two ago. Fortunately they were able to fix it under warranty and the HD itself was ok so I didn't lose any data.

Um, and surely you have complete daily backups, yes? So there isn't a close call?

If not, well...
