Asus EPU-4 Engine driver?

I'm currently setting up an Asus P5Q-EM mobo.

One of the driver options is labelled "Asus EPU-4 Engine" and I'm wondering if I should install it. The description says "Automatically moderates power of CPU/VGA/Hard Drive/Fan for energy savings."

This sounds like one of those typical "backround" services that we typically disable on our DAWs. However, I'm thinking that this would be very beneficial in terms of heat, which is a large concern with my 3-space racked road systems.

Does anyone know if this has a significant impact on a DAW? I'd assume the answer is no, but would like some feedback.

Thanks.
