Buying new computer+firestudio project - need help

hi, my name is ori and im a musician from israel
first i'd like to say this forum is cool and i get alot of excellent info that i couldn't get from various people in the buissnes here

so here's my deal, i want to start a new studio and i have my eye on the firestudio project wich is avialble here in israel.
one thing im afraid of is the various posts i've seen across the net about serious problems of the FSP communication with a pc (im going for a pc, not mac..)
other posts say this is a monster that runs smoothly
i've also seen posts of people saying they had the exact pc hardware presonus is recomending and still have the problems
so i don't know what to do and i don't want to F*CK this purchase up!
if can anyone who had experience with the FSP give me any advice about what pc hardware to buy, what firewire card, motherboard, hard disk, ram etc..

im also planning to use the pc a bit for web, i saw posts saying they have audio problems playing online music...
