G Drive Mini

Anyone use these for on the go solutions? The one I was looking at is the triple interface 320GB 7200rpm. I just curious how the case has held up and what kind of drives they put inside. I definitely need them most rugged portable drive available. Not interested in Lacie. If they don't sit on your desk they die quickly. I am really needing something portable that i can run sessions off of. Can I run things like samplers and soft instruments?? I am assuming 2 track and vocals is not a big deal. Thanks
