Does anyone know what happened to www.v-synthesis.com ?

I had their page bookmarked for ages, with the intention of buying the H3000/H8000 impulses. Now it seems it's gone, and only recently I think. Dang.

Don't know but here is some info I found about the libraries. Can't get the demos working. Not sure if the payment system is active any more so be careful if you send money.

My experiences with IR verbs have made me prefer 4 channel verb (or so called 'true stereo', or 'quad') over 2 ch. It seems to me that this way of treating the original signal makes it easier to place a sound within a 3D space and move it around within a virtual space, more than a sweet tail. It also seems to emulate a bit of that modulating and changing tail effect that you get with algorithmic verbs. Especially when placing a dry orchestra in a virtual stage.

Anyone else share this experience? or perhaps rejects.

This is on Waves IR1 in my case. All IR1 1gb stock material is 4 channel, and there are a few 4 ch impulse packs from other manufactorers as well - like Peter Roos Samplicity. I find most of the material available for the IR1 to be more warm and useful in a musical/mix context, whereas Altiverb sounds its best in a post-processing context in my opinion.
