Plugins make noise by default

I'm a protools user but this may apply with many daws. I have a mix open right now and without playing the song or anything I hear noise. If I bypass all plugins it goes to silent. Why is this? It's not 1 plugin either if I one by one bypass them it gets softer and softer.

The analog button on the waves produces hiss . Especially on the API emulations .

Moogerfooger and Everyphase produce most hiss for me when in a session.

The vintage emulation on the TC DVR2 reverb produces a heap of noisy mojo.

DUY Tape even at noiseless setting still produces noise.

yeah i noticed the moogoofooger stuff but none in this session. Mostly waves. Lots of req6 and rcomp. Analog channel a few. Couple reverbs. few more various things. It's definitely not from 1 plugin. It's annoying I have to automate like 30 plugins to bypass until that instrument starts. You hear this hiss real loud during the intro. Oh well shouldn't take more then 10 min just annoying lol.

Why automate 30 plugins? Just fade-in right before the instrument starts once you've bouced it to a seperate track...

Just put a gate on the last insert of each channel producing noise. Solved my problem.

Or don't worry about the hiss at all. It's not that bad.

Just think of it as an auto dither.

I don't bounce to separate tracks unless I need more inserts or my computer can't handle more plugins.

The problem with this song is that it fades in slowly with some reverse swirling effect so the noise is pretty bad at the beginning.

The gate is a good idea thx.
