Cd architect with Pro Tools Noob question...

Hi, I'm fairly new to Pt and just got Sonic Foundry's Cd Architect on recommendation. On the Cd architect box, it says it does high quality resampling and dithering, but in the manual in contents, index or any of the pages, I cannot find a single mention of what to do if you have material at 88.2 etc and need to burn a cd.
I've never burned a cd from pro tools before so in my noobish ways, just to see if I could; last night I took an 88.2 song bounced to disk and just clicked burn cd in cd architect. Just like magic, I got a cd that would play on my player and sounded about as good as the recording quality of an average digital answering machine. It was aweful. I'm not talking about the mix. I mean it sounded like what I would imagine about 20 times through an a/d/a to sound like.
Before I did the bounce to disk, I couldn't even pull up the Pt session in Cd Architect. It's probably something very basic, but I see no mention of the src in Cd architect other than on the outside of the box.
Anyone who is willing to shed a little light for me would be appreciated.

Thank you,

No idea!
I'll do my dithering with POWr/UV22 in Logic/Protools after the bounce.
