AES/EBU 4 pair to ADAT lightpipe ?

Once again I must admit I'm clueless. I have a great A/D with 4 pair of AES/EBU out and need to go to ADAT lightpipe in.

Prey tell, how do I ?

I have the RME ADI-4 DD to convert my AES/EBU to lightpipe........I dont believe it can handle 4 AES?EBU out though.........but it definatly will do AES to lightpipe............Maybe RME makes a bigger version.

You could also try to find a Mutec Format changer. They are discontinued but maybe second hand?

MUTEC Germany - FORMAT CHANGER ADVANCED

Or this one:

AI4

Or:

APHEX Systems 144 Bidirectional Converter ADAT to AES / AES to ADAT

Or:

Hello,
I've used both the RME4DD and the Aphex. They both work well, the RME has a few more clocking options.
They both do bidirectional 8ch AES (4 pairs) <> lightpipe.

Motu 2408 is TDIF only, no AES/EBU.

You could get 4 of these if you only need toslink pairs (won't work for 8 channel lightpipe), I have no idea how good they are (they are Hosa) - Hosa ODL312 | Sweetwater.com

If anyone is still looking, I have an Aphex 144 for sale, unused, with materials to make a Mogami cable (2xDB15). It's listed in the for sale forum.

Alesis used to make the AI-4 for this. Long discontinued though. I had to look around a long time for mine.
