Here for the gear

IK is dope, but pretty heavy on cpu, so do net get a lot of use.
Didn´t like Taupe very much, I prefer Waves Kramer Tape and U-he Satin Tape.

Ever since adding the IK tape plugs, I’ve had one on the 2 bus of nearly every mix. Usually the 24 or 80, but occasionally the 440. I think they’re pretty amazing. I keep A/Bing to make sure I really like the change the plug is making, and I always do. Best way I can describe it is that it seems to make the mix more coherent. I know that’s vague, but it’s the most accurate word I can find for what I’m hearing. Everything seems to sit better with everything else somehow.

But they certainly are frightful CPU hogs. I have a pretty robust computer (maxed 2019 Mac Mini), and I don’t know if I could get away with using more than one per mix.
