Help! Urgent! New dual g4 866 logic won't do Logic dual!
Just bought a new dual g4 866.

Loaded in an old Logic song.

Went to audio options, pressed Multi Thread option (to enable dual processor support)

Won't play! Grinds to a halt with a heap of cpu overload.

Then says 'Problem syncing midi and audio, framerate of 34258 recognised'

What the F***!!!!

It works when the multithread option is not chosenm but then I'm using it as a single 866, therefore missing the point entirely!

Please anybody!!!! Desperate!

DP G4 and Logic
Hi there-

I'm on a DP 800 with Logic 5.3 and all works fine here. Do you have any plugs in the old song that might not be DP compatible? NI has quite a few as well as all of the Pluggo plugs.

Just a thought.

Does it come up fine with your autoload song?

I hope this helps a bit.

You probably need the latest version of Apple CPU plugins. It's an extension. If you've upgraded your system from an old version, you probably don't have it enabled.

Hopefully this is the problem. Get a copy of the mac os 9.2.2 installation cd, and copy the extension from the cd to your hard drive.

I'm using the Konnekt 6. Works problem free. Nice pre, great features.
