Hey guys...Digi has just release tools 7.3.1....If you've had hell with 7.3 and dual core chips, this should fix it.
Take care .

You need to purchase 7.3 then DL 7.3.1

Some registered 7.1 owners are exempt from the upgrade fee.

Check out the website.

Usually, if you purchase a Digi product (Mbox, 002, HD, etc.) and they release a new version of their software within a couple months of you buying it, you'll be eligible for a free upgrade.

If you are eligible for a free upgrade from PT7 to PT7.3 you would have recieved an email from digidesign provided you registered your product.

At least I am pretty sure thats how it works.

Only for some users.

From the digi website:

Note: If you’ve purchased and registered a Pro Tools LE system, a Pro Tools LE hardware exchange, or an older Pro Tools LE software upgrade on or after November 1, 2006, you are eligible to receive a free upgrade to Pro Tools LE 7.3 software — Digidesign will be contacting you via email shortly. Please make sure that you have registered your qualifying product to receive this special offer.

No, the Music Production Toolkit is an expansion pack. It doesn't automatically give you the lastest version of the software.
