Yep, that is correct. I’m on Logic and that works.

VST3 only IIRC

It was a fair question by @ DEA , just like all the ones on other companies / products here. No need to change the thread.

Just saying……. Original Post was:

“Who Uses Plugin Alliance? How to they compare to Wave, FabFilter, Softube, Sound Toys, UAD etc.

If so, what's your favorite "go to" plugs?”

Of course, we are not going to discuss the “elephant in the room”. Lol!

Also best to check that you are getting a UAD "exclusive" plugin as there are much better Native options . . i.e. why buy Softube from them, etc. ?
Absolutely, Not interested in any other UAD plugins from softube, sonnox or PA etc….or the amps

Hi @ blackfinder
While not nearly as good as the previous sale, I just wanted to let you know that there is a sale on Model 72 and 82 now at Softube.

Model 82 for $69
Model 72 for $79

In case you really need one of them now.

What do you guys think?
I'd rather give my money to Soundpaint for their new Legato Winds...

Aaaah, decisions, decisions.
Tough call and probably lean towards your preference for soundpaint also. But...I do think SplitEQ, Physion and Tverb are worth $90. Still, probably get more mileage from the legato winds.

So back on topic then, at least for 1 post

I use PA:

- Metric AB. There is no comparison for me, and without a doubt my most favorite PA plugin.
- SSL-4000E. Sometimes like it better than the UAD version, except on vocals where I like the UAD more.
- SSL-9000J. Love this on piano
- bx_digital V3. Great for the widener, solo maker and M/S
- BlackBox HG-2. Sometimes like it more than Decapitator or Vulture Culture.
- bx_control. Quick stereo tools and nice widener.
- bx_refinement. Can be your secret weapon in de-harshing.
- BAX EQ. Man, the high shelve on this thing!
- SPL Transient Designer. A classic.

Used, but dropped due lack of native silicon support:

- Lindell 80. One of the best sounding Neve channels around.
- Lindell 50. Do have the UAD vision as well, but the UI of this one is nicer.

Recently also got the AMEK 9099, but did not spend enough time with it to have an opinion.

The rest I do not use. Not because the plugins are bad or worse than others, but because I like the way the ones I'm used to work and sound. So no need to switch.

Okay. I am just getting into them recently so looking forward to using the free comp on different mixes. Of what I can find, most posts are positive and I am liking them so far. So, just wondered if you knew something else to consider. Thanks for getting back to me.

Mine was 35GB, so I'm sure it's 40-45GB at least by now.
You even "get" to download each product individually! Fun!
I think I paid $99.

Everything else is just a bonus…

Just a note for those after Model 82, I haven't tried it myself, but I don't imagine it is as useful as D16's LuSH-101 which Is far more expensive at the moment .....but it occasionally is cheap...I got it for $44 from JRR on a special promotion back in 2020

Just something to look out for........

The IR's for Reverberate come in at 15.5 GB which is hefty enough for a

If anyone needs a mic from Santa, this is a smoking deal on the Warm tube 47. This mic works on everything I point it at.
Just amazing tone, I can't recommend it enough. $749 now, crazy.

I won't dissagree, but Phoscyon2 gives it a run for the money:

Phoscyon2 is quite the stunner.

I hope LuSH get's a makeover as well

Just be aware, I don't think it works at all on macOS anymore. I imagine there will be a 2.0 at some point with Apple Silicon support.

Not a concern ATM for Windows users though lol.

I believe he's not as well known for it as he was for his surprise gourmet dishes which were supposed to be exceedingly wholesome. Unfortunately just as history tended to deprive him of a slightly Nubian appearance, they seem to have also airbrushed his invention of the humble bicycle out too. Perhaps this is not the best place to discuss his Lgbtq2 + credentials which apparently have also been a tad downplayed.......................

I have extras (2 for most) of the following. Finally got some time today to go through these. Figured I would share with someone that may be able to use one. Couple are older so no guarantees. However, if you missed these previously, now’s your chance.

Send me a PM if interested. I will update here when they are gone.

Audiothing Valves (from December 2021) - Gone
Bitwig Studio 8 Track (from July 2022) - Gone
Ozone Elements (from July 2022) - 1 left
United Plugins AutoFormer (from April 2022) - Gone
United Plugins Royal Compressor (from November 2022) - Gone
UVI Digital Synsations (from November 2021) - Gone

No doubt... not much of an acid bass guy but I do enjoy the Pure Acid iOS app.
