Plug in limiter output level?

I'm mastering my own stuff to cd again.

I'm using the Massey L2007 Limiter and I forgot what I used to put for the out ceiling. It seems like I used -.40 and then the dither after that made it -.10, or was it -.04 that yeilded about -.01?

Thanks in advance

So what's the question? How much dither can add, or what output level to use?

I often use -0.4 or -0.3 as a ceiling.

Good luck!

thanks for the replies. It was a two part question sort of.
1) I'm concerned about my dyslexia is a normal -.40, or -.04?
2) am I correct in thinking that on the Cd you want to end up at 0? dithering can add up add a few clicks so... as a starting point >Massy out -.40 > dither

Massy -.40 > dither would be just fine
