What's up guys I've been mixing my songs now, and I mix the vocals to where you can hear them but you don't really hear them. I keep em to were you can hear every word but they are not to in your face. Can mastering engineers work with something like that I usually have my instrumentals at about -32 to -42 db and vocals at -14 to -15 db

Mastering engineers will work with whatever you think is a good mix. If it sounds odd you may get a call but the aesthetic decision is up to you.
