Oh, I'm sure the capsules are OEM, but they apparently tested many to get the one that was right for the circuit. I'd love to hear a comparison between the Starlight and 3U Audio 127. At the end of this bit of marketing, Aston say "We could do it cheaper. But nobody could do it better", so be interesting if at half the price, the 127 did do it better! lol

We are incredibly proud to say that Starlight, like all of our microphones, is designed and Made in the UK, and not just assembled from imported components. More than 90% of our build of materials (BOM) and components are sourced in England, Scotland and Wales. All material processing is done locally too, including the chassis tumbling, the engraving, the mould manufacturing for the mic head and base... even our packaging, which is 84% recycled material and 100% recyclable, is made right here in the UK.
We could do it cheaper. But nobody could do it better.
