Bought A Baby Bottle

HEY,
I just bought a baby bottle and I'm wondering what would be the perfect preamp for it between $300-$700?? so far I'm leaning towards the M-Audio Tampa.

Thanks,
Alex

sorry 'bout that, I'm using an Alto L16 mixer, Delta 1010, and pro tools M-Powered and want to mainly record electric guitar, acoustic, and vox with it.

i was never impessed by the tampa, though, obviously you probably dont have the budget for an ISA range channel strip or a Liquid channel...perhaps a FMR audio RNP and RNC combo?

The Joemeek OneQ is a nice channel strip anyhow.

The ART Pro Channel is a surprisingly useful box also.

The Safe Sound Audio P1 has a nice preamp and excellent compressor / limiter on board.

The Rane MS1B preamps are cheap ($150) and sound nice and clean.

The M-Audio DMP3 is a nice clean preamp as well.

All of these boxes would likely net you an improved chain.

thanks guys, I narrowed it down to either the ART Pro Channel, Aphex 207D, or the M-Audio Tampa....

check my myspace page. all vocals were tracked with the aphex and baby bottle. first 2 tracks with rappers, and the third with singers.

Not mine, but there is a DAV BG1 in the classifieds section...

This would make a great preamp for the baby bottle as well as many other things.

Regards,

Chris

PS - Also, if you do a search there were some samples posted not long ago.

I use the Baby Bottle with the RNP/RNC combo with great success. It's not real colored though.

Out of all of those, I would DEFINITELY get the Aphex 207.
