Firepod and RME ADI-2
I've been thinking of utilizing the SPDIF connections on my Firepod and was wondering if the RME ADI-2 would be good. I've searched the boards on it but want to know if it will really be a somewhat huge step up from the Firepod's converters.

I've never used/heard the firepod before but let me say that when I purchased the ADI-2, I was expecting a midiocre unit. Let me say that this unit totally rocks and expecially for it's price. I say definately buy it... You won't be sorry.

i bought this for my firepod. it is definitely a step up. for some reason i liked the sound of it better at 44.1khz than 88 or 96k though.
