A&H Zed 10 FX USB noise with Garageband?
Hi,
Has anyone out there come across this problem?
When I use the Zed 10 FX with Garageband on a Macbook using 'USB audio codec' for Garageband audio input and 'built-in output' for Garageband output, I get a high pitched whine coming through the headphones plugged into the Zed 10.
If I change the Garageband settings to use 'built-in input' for audio in, the whine disappears.
Any ideas? Help!

MacBook or Hackintosh... that is a common issue with Hacks. USB audio devices just seem to send a high pitched feedback through to the headphones.

Is anything plugged into ST2? if not, then it's the USB return, and if the gain on ST2 is up, you'll have a feedback loop.
