Buying a mixer to attach via optical to my Motu 896hd? What do you think?

It says it integrates with Some mackie mixers???

I want to buy some faders or some sort of "mixing" device...

Anyone have any idea on something that i could get to plug into here to make it easier to mix?

I think you can assign controllers (MIDI or USB) plugged into the computer to control the cue mixer.

But you don't need optical.

And a mouse is probably fine for as much as you tend to change the foldback system.

A lot of the "control surfaces" are essentially just a fader that works as a MIDI controller. If you are doing a lot of mixing and moving several around constantly for hours, then a slider type control is nice to have.

How often do you think you'll re-adjust the cue mixer?
