Apogee Rosetta AD, still worth it?

I'm looking to improve some of the gear in my setup; I noticed that some of the older Rosetta AD (the 24/96 model) can be found on ebay for a reasonable price. Is it still worth it as an AD converter or the new generation is so improved that the older is not worth it to get?
I'd be using it to go Spdif in my 002R/Pro Tools LE setup, clocking the Digi HW to it and WCing the rest of the studio machines to it (couple of reverbs, Eventides...).

Thanx for the feedback.

Absolutely worth it! I'm running the setup you mentioned into a 001 and it made a huge improvement- Rosetta AD into the s/pdf input used as the master clock and the bnc clock output going to a Digimax LT.
