RNC SuperNice on Drums

Is it just me, or does SuperNice mode on a mix make the drums disappear? The cymbals are practically gone, and the bass drum is pretty quiet, while vocals and other instruments jump to the foreground.

Not for me. I love that thing on drums, as a parallel compressor. I use it on almost every mix along side my $3-5000 compressors.

Are you using it across the mix-buss?
Never tried it on mix buss.. but I could see it not working well in supernice on the mix.
Supernice always sounds as if it's doing a strange kind of phasey thing to me.

I agree that it works on drums well.. really.. my fav use for it.
I've never had much of a use for supernice mode though to be honest....

I dig it in normal mode...
every once in awhile I use it in supernice on vocals...
