I've created and developed a Bitwig controller script for the Behringer DDX3216 digital mixer in 2000 lines of finest TypeScript talking SysEx with Ulis bad boy.
You can use this vintage tank to control Bitwig with 16 high resolution motor fader channels, 64 virtual ones, 8 sends on each channel, effect returns faders on page 4, pans, mutes and the best all the inserts effects you have on each channel, HighPass, Gate, Compressor, EQ and Delay. I have mapped them to the related Bitwig devices.
The script could be extended to enable cascading of up to 16 DDXes, which means you could get 256 physical faders and 1024 virtual ones!!!
You can get the DDX3216 cheap on the second hand market! But there is one downside though, they need electrical maintenance, meaning replacing _all_ the caps. But after that you get a rock solid device and one of the most powerful DAW controller for Bitwig out there!
