Dual layered popfilters

Will there be a noticeable sound difference when recording through a dual layered nylon pop filter with the gap in between both screens as compared to the one without the gap?

pop shields can dull things sometimes.

especially thick foam ones.

i find a single layer of nylon doesnt change things enough for it to be an issue.

lately i have even been using a steel pop filter without issues.

multiple layers of nylon will eventually dull it down, if you keep adding them.

hope that helps. Buddha
