Home Studio Advice , a little help from my friends ;-)

Hi guys im currently setting up my small homestudio mainly for arranging, doing audioedits and midi music production

Right now ive got the following gear:

C2D 6600 PC with 19" Monitor got one pci slot free so no problem with pci based soundcards
Blusky Media Desks
Korg 01W PRO X 88 )my command battle station

So one thing im looking for is a good soundcard
i would like to my audioedits and mixing in Protools but my main app for laying down ideas and virtual midistuff is fruity loops 6

Would a m-powered system do the trick? So i could use an M-audio Card in FL6 and Protools 7.3 MP?

apart from that i need some midi pads to trigger sequences and programm drumpattern any advice there?

is there something im missing?

would be great if you could give me some tips

thx a lot and keep on the good work over here!
