Electrodyne 710 - Advice

By the luck of the gear gods I came up on a pair of these for free. I'm not currently looking for a preamp and of course the gear head in me wants to keep these, but my better judgement leans me towards selling them. There is one secondary metal notch (below the pot that selects secondary controls) missing. Aside from that they are in great condition. Any suggestions as to a range in price I should ask/accept? Much appreciated.

These are definitely worlds better then my UA 710 Twinfinity which is connected to a TLM49.

I just see it as a financial come up wanting to sell because the power supply alone to get the pair working is $200 for the two and then gotta house em and it's just too many little amounts to justify not pocketing the money. It's probably better I don't listen to them before getting rid of them but I have a feeling my TLM49 wouldn't be a whole diff sound (for the better) so much as to justify the trade offs I'm considering.

From what I've attempted to gather, $1200 is a fair price, no?

first of all you can buy a power supply for very cheap on ebay...

If it only takes a 24v rail? Not sure if it uses +/- volts or just one rail...

No need to pay $200 for a supply..

I would say your price is about correct if you sold them....
