Tegeler Audio Manufaktur?

Hi there. Has anyone experience with gear from the Tegeler Audio Manufactur, a German manufacturer located in Berlin? Thanks a lot for comments.

I'd like to know that too!
In the current issue of the German magazine "Keys" there was a review of the "tube recording channel" what made me really curious about this company.
The "Vari Tube Compressor" looks quite good... heh

I think he's one of these DIY clone guys who now try to do something theirselves.

Since he has been distributed by Synthax the prices raised. That's a drawback in comparison to the traditional hiend companies around. We'll see what happens with him.

Yeah, that's a little stupid. Perhaps the distributor wanted it so? No idea!

I would love to get some infroos about the summing mixer! The concept is nice, and it has a fair price!

Still need a submixer for my keys and samplers!!!

Well Tom do you think they look exactly like Tubetechs? I think they do not have the elegance the original tubetech design has! Perhaps they wanna show that they also use tubes!

By the way Tom: Read your EV RE20 recommendation at Busy's Webpage! Are you sure it was used for the vocals on you mentioned? I like the Mic but did never think it will sound that good on female vox!

andrewj , yepp...I´m pretty sure the EV was used...but the rest of the vocal-chain was rather something like a Neve 1073-> EAR 660 / LA2a -> Pultec -> A/D ....so that makes up for a lot heh

plus she was very close to the mike and it´s sung really quiet

as far as I know....

sorry for the hijack -> back to topic

I´d be interested, if they did a TT - Cl1b like single comp! with GOOD!! tubes and competetive price

crap

hallo claus,
i know two tegeler audio "special-products" from inside: one racked RFZ V781 microphone amp and one unit with two neve lineamplifiers and both are behind the nice faceplate electrically and mechanically on sub-diy level. and they were not cheap. i think anyone can do it better, including my mother(75 years old, nearly blind and deaf). you better buy something else.

Who has used a NEW Tegeler Audiomanufaktur EQP-2 ch. equalizer or VTC ?

I do NOT mean the units distributed by Musicstore, Cologne, some years ago which were cheap, flawed copies of the original. I am talking about a real German-made unit.

I bought one Creme RC the other day, and wow what a sound!
Which made me buy two more.
Then the problems started.
When having multiple plugins it makes the DAW totally sluggish.
There is no clever way to assign a hardware to the plugin.
There is no totall recall when opening a session..
The plugin resets the hardware when inserting the plugin. I want the plugin to get the settings from the hardware of course.
Hopefully this is all software issues which can be solved in future software and firmware updates.
Another minor issue is that one lamp is dead on a switch (eq -> Comp) on one unit.
But, why this post?
I wonder if anyone ever get a response from Tegeler when sending them emails?
As I bought 3 units I thought I could be a kind of ”premium-customer”, but obvioulsy not. No response for weeks.
