Tube-Tech LCA 2b compression behavior compared to Fairchild

Hello all - I'm looking for people who have experience with both the Fairchild 670 and the Tube-Tech LCA 2b to weigh in on a few things:

1) putting sound and tone aside, how similar is the LCA 2b's compression behavior at its various auto settings to the Fairchild 670's analogous settings?

2) in use, how interchangeable (if at all) do you find them, application by application.

3) I understand the LCA 2b is not an exact reincarnation - it is simply a similar design with the same auto settings - so in practice how is the LCA 2b different, and what are your thoughts on those differences.

I'll add that I've read all the LCA 2b threads and already know which people hate the LCA 2b, are annoyed that it was not what it was marketed to be in the early 90's, etc. . . Let's try to keep this thread focused on the behavior of the compressor.
