I listened to the SOS voice samples and all three sound "badly" recorded to me.
In any case they don't show what these mics can do on a vocal, nor do they show the differences very well.

That's why it's always best to get the mic. in your own hands and try it for yourself.

Any new information on the Gefell M1030. We're currently in the market for a new male vocal mic sound (cardiod only is fine). We tried the MT71S and it has a lovely tone but it was a bit thin for our application. The $1600 price point is the top of our available funds.

Have Blue Stage 2 Rocket/Siemens NOS, Neumann TLM49, Telefunken Copperhead, Violet Design Emerald and Lauten Atlantis. Would be used on one male bar/tenor singer. Other option, pickup several lower priced vocal mics together: EV RE20 or Shure 7B, Aston Spirit, Warm 87 for about the same $s. Thanks!
