Studer A80 24tk Alignment question

Hi-

Just bought a Studer A80 MkII 24trk machine.

Had the local Tech tune the transport and align the machine to my requested 15ips. However i couldn't have been present so i didn't really learn from him how to do the alignment myself.

Please share your way of doing it for 15ips operation with one of the more modern tapes such as the ATR or gp9.

Application is rock oriented so its not as dynamic as classical music in terms of s/n.

Thanks!

CD/Audio Mastering - Recording Studio Tips - 2-Track Analog Machine Alignment

Do this on as many tracks as you need aligned.

Best,
