Running other mic pres to my digital in's?

I have the Amek DMCL with digital option. I like the converters but can I use the converters with other pres and not go line in?

Why would you not want to go line in? To avoid the transformer?

I assume transformerless

but to get a clean clear path, I ask b/c the API is believed to be able to do that!

Yes, the API does. Not sure about your AMEK, though....

you can use send return and route external pre directly to DMCL's comp. Hope this will help...
