You may find yourself using some of those other 8 ins on your summing mixer for parallel processing, time based fx, etc; anyhow.

I emailed Bobby at Alto Music....
He advised me that the Max no of outs any AVID converter can have is 16.
Bugger - that blows the idea of 24 out, 8 in.

A single Apogee Symphony I/O will do 24 DA and 8 AD in a single unit. It will also take all of your ins and outs on one of the ports.
