For testing big PA systems i like

Dire Straits, Calling Elvis (the bass shakes the room and the snare makes you blink)
Ben Harper, Whipping Boy (good seperation)

Yeah !! I like "The Dawn" and "Bending New Corners". And the recording/tone/ambience/performance on "Bending New Corners" is so great I never tire spinning it again and again ! Not so much the others but there is some great stuff too...
