Who's had a chance to Listen to Lynn Fuston's CD that compares the summing of various workstations? It's a very interesting listen. If no discussion materializes here be sure to look for it over at Lynn's site, 3daucioinc.com. (go to the recording forums, of course)

I gave a point by point comments at Lynn's site, and will repost it here if other people are interested in posting also. In general, I liked the SSL and D2B/Spider mixes, hated the Trident 24 (my very own console, no less), and had various problems with most of the digital mixes. As I've said elsewhere, there was one that I made no comment on because absolutely nothing good OR bad got my attention, and that was PTHD, OS9. Weirdly enough, that's the platform I use every day. It just blows my mind that I found something to say about every other one except that one (and I can usually think of something to say about most anything ). I didn't have a clue which was which.

I'm gonna take out the analog mixes, mix up the remainders, and have at it again.

Anybody else?
