Hi
A 31105 is a 12" high, 45mm wide channel amplifier with 4 band EQ and high pass and low pass filters. It was mainly used in 8078 consoles.
A 33115 is approx 8.75" tall, 35mm wide module with three band EQ, a fixed high frequency and just a high pass filter. It fitted a multitude of 35 series consoles like 5312, 5315, 5316 and many custom consoles.
As both use similar internal amplifiers and transformers they might be similar sounding, especially with the EQ off.
