Today I cracked ... my tv has been acting strange ... nice big Sony (about 10 years old) and my VCR stopped recording a while ago ... time to go shopping ... originally set out for a new VCR and a normal 16:9 32 inch tv. Here's what I got:

Methinks you're a slut for more than just pro audio my friend. Hows the picture quality on your set? I'm in the market for one myself.

You ****ing *****! You paid more than the down payment on my house for a TEEVEEE!!!!!tutt

You have wierd money priorities. I noticed in your studio pictures that your pro control appears to be on a folding table, and your 5.1 speakers on bar stools?

Anyways have fun and stuff, money's useless to you when you're dead. Except for 2 cents worth.

Don't feel bad Chris - I just bought a 43" Pioneer - love it !

Finally the picture justifies the huge sound I have had for awhile...

yup ... but that's at the studio ... we're on the edge of building a complete new complex in a hangar we bought about 2 years ago ... all the studio money is being saved / going into that ... plans / acoustic studies etc etc ... I'll scan the final plans one of these and post those too. We decided not to put useless money in the old room ... the folding table is there because the argosy we bought second hand about 6 months ago is too big for that room. the bar stools for the 5.1 are going to be replaced by custom iron design stands in the new studio. Call it silly but the new studio is going to be a long project ... would be easier and quicker if we could do it all at once. The advantage will be that everything will be paid for when it's done ... little or no money owed to the bank. I'd rather listen to my 5.1 setup on bar stools then being in debt with the bank for the rest of my life.

Sweet!

I've been lusting over those plasma screens since I saw the original $10,000 Phillips set several years back... They're taking much too long to drop in price!

BTW, is that a promo pic, or is that your living room? It looks fabulous!

Congratulations!

Well, just as long as you don't put the set on a folding table!
