DBX 162VU compressor -- any good?

Has anyone ever had any experience using a DBX 162vu compressor? You don't hear much about these... and maybe there's a good reason for that.

But I'd like to hear from some who has used one.

It's cool. I've used it as drumgroup compressor in the past. Like it's mono brother you have to hit it lightly otherwise the sound starts to close down. I'd probably get one if I had the chance to find one for cheap.

It's like a stereo 160VU. Hope that helps.
