(of course if I need a good THUD, I've got a set of TAMA's with deep shells to use also)
Sure it is but I'm not lacking in the resonance department on my floor tom. I do have iso hoops on my other toms...

I've got a 10", 12" rack tom with a 14" floor tom set up, along with a 20" and a 22" kick. The 22" kick is what's usually set up.
