Can experienced souls advise on the studio mixing quality difference between the different models of Amek and Soundtracs large-format mixing consoles?

Which company used the better channel preamps and Eqs overall?

Any models to recommend as the best?

i've owned the amek angela (I & II) plus the mighty amek recall - iirc the soundtracs jade was fine too but i didn't get to use it much.

i'd rate the amek recall the highest by far (not least because of its built-in dynamics) but that's a very superficial assessment and it's been a looong time since i used these desks...
