Yep , got to try it out for a couple days in our room. Real transparent, the M+S feature was cool, and the phase LED monitor seemed to do as advertised, although we didn't mess with it that much, just set it up and gave a listen.
We used it on Piano (nice) and drum overheads with Royer r 122. Nice , open and un-colored sounding.Built really well and supposedly a version comming with A/D built in. We passed on it only beause we wanted to pick up a couple oher pre's first with more attitude. (actually bought an Isa110 and Massive passive with that $$$)

The P2 is in the top 3 or 4 for our "b" overdub/edit room, along with a couple others.
(Hey Michael W, what are your control room dimensions, if you don't mind me asking. )

The P2 is a colorless open sounding preamp with low noise. If you are on a budget, the Great River MP-2 (not the MP-2H, the MP-2 is tranny in, no tranny out) is a little less in cost than the P2. Definitely more than worth every penny. The Great River name pretty much speaks for itself, and the MP-2 is the most open and 'invisible' sounding unit in the entire line, although the Jensen iron on the inputs of the MP-2 does add an extra amount of smoothness to my ears.
