DW Fearn Customer Service. You get what you pay for
I bought a used VT1 on reverb. Unit showed up dead. After some initial back and forth with the seller, who originally told me pss off, I emailed Jeff Hazelrigg. I emailed him at 645am on my way to work. He replied at 7am. This was a Friday. I mailed the unit to him Saturday, it arrived Tuesday and returned to me on Thursday. 5 day complete turnaound. Unit just needed tubes which he replaced and made sure it was all up to spec. He even returned it to me in new DW Fearn box.
At the end the repair was only $100 and the seller paid for it.
But man, this is a company I will do business with again. He just gets it.
Oh, the preamp isn't bad either......

I'm good at multi-tasking. It's a skill.
And to be clear, that phrase can be used as a compliment and an insult. When you pay cheaply/not at all, it's usually an insult (cheap = bad service.) Which is why the choice here was

Was there something in my post that remotely implied I was unhappy? Learn when to just stop.
